A native of the Kansas City, Missouri area. He received his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Health Sciences in El Paso Texas. Dr. Waldman completed his internship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He then received his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
He served as medical director of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the electrodiagnostic laboratory at the Headache and Pain Center in Leawood, Kansas, and has written numerous journal articles and book chapters as well as lectures nationally on pain medicine.
At San Diego Chiropractic Group, Howard Waldman MD, DO physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) specialist. Also called Physiatry, it is the branch of medicine emphasizing the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders. Particularly related to the nerves, muscles, bones, and brain.
Dr. Howard Waldman specializes in providing the following wellness services. Services such as, guided nerve blocks and other injections and performing diagnostic testing including EMG, Nerve Conduction Studies, and Diagnostic Ultrasound. Dr. Waldman looks forward to helping patients with their wellness management needs.
